About
This section explains who we are, what we are about and how our service fits with the network of rape crisis centres across Scotland.
There are 17 Rape Crisis centres all over Scotland, some of which have over 40 years’ experience of supporting survivors of sexual violence, their friends and families.
Our national office, Rape Crisis Scotland works tirelessly to improve responses to sexual violence, to raise awareness and challenge prejudicial attitudes to sexual violence, and to set up and ensure high quality services.
Moray Rape Crisis is one of the newest services, established in 2018. It has the support of this wider network of expertise and experience and works closely with a range of local stakeholders including Police Scotland and Moray Women’s Aid.
Moray Rape Crisis has recently been awarded charitable status in Scotland SCO50532
